Valmore Holding has formally joined the United Nations Global Compact, the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative. By signing on, the Group commits to align its operations and strategies with the Ten Principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption — and to take action in support of the Sustainable Development Goals.
"Joining the Global Compact codifies what our portfolio companies already practice every day," noted the Group's Chief Sustainability Officer. "It also adds external accountability — and that's a feature, not a bug."
Valmore will publish its first Communication on Progress in line with UN reporting cycles, alongside the Group's annual Sustainability Report.
